Pre-Vacation
Next week at this time I will be in MT. This "alone time" has been a nice prerequisite to that trip. I am actually starting to look forward to it now. It will be nice to get away for awhile, but I'm sure that I'll be just as happy to come back.
I went down to Queens on Tuesday PM, but Jamaica Man had a toothache, so things were pretty low-key. I was happy to have left-overs from our Sunday PM dinner and he just had a can of soup. Wednesday PM, Lesbian Girlfriend, Boy1, and I went out for a nice, leisurely, pre-fixe dinner at a Spanish/Cuban restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was pretty mediocre, but it was just nice to spend some time together. Boy2 is out in CA completing his ministerial requirements ... he's now a REV! Lesbian Girlfriend leaves for Montego Bay on Monday. Yesterday I spent a nice day by myself. 'Visited the farmer's market in a neighboring town ... I love farmer's markets and had yet to attend one this year. Also checked out this farm and had a wonderful salad sampler lunch.
It looks to be a rainy weekend. Jamaica Man is supposed to come up and I was hoping we'd get in some walking and check out the local Caribbean restaurant. I'm trying to work up my energy to go out today and do my work at the Center so it's out of the way, but so far, it's more inviting to just stay inside.
