Exhausted
My whole body aches today ... like I've been beaten.
Yesterday was a very good day. I spent the day shopping and preparing for the BBQ. 'Did not feel at all overwhelmed, but 'do have a tendency to always overdo. It was a lovely evening all around. By the time we'd had appetizers, it was hard to believe that dinner and dessert were yet to follow. Main Man had fun helping me prepare and even commented that I "could do this for a job!" Today, he again commented on how good all the food was.
Boy Two gave Main Man a haircut out on the deck and Jamaica Man even showed up before the evening was over. I'd only invited him a few short hours before. There was something about us all finally getting together again, that a part of me wanted it to still just be "us", however, Lesbian Girlfriend and Tibbles had yet to meet Jamaica Man, so hence the invitation. And of course, last to arrive ... last to leave ... right?
We walked this AM, then Main Man had a party to attend and my nails had gone beyond unsightly, so to the salon I went. 'Had not done my work this week at the Center, so we then headed over there, and now we will forego that trip tomorrow. Plenty of leftovers for dinner, some reading and conversation. A "thanks, but no thanks" to Jamaica Man for his offer to visit again this PM ... I'll go down there tomorrow PM. Main Man is camping out among the oversized pillows on the TV room floor and a reclining position calls to me also. 'Catch ya later.
