Cruising
This is the last week of MiddleSister's camp. Late tomorrow afternoon, Mom, Dad, and MainMan will leave to visit OldestSister and pick up MiddleSister. They will then spend the weekend at the country house. I leave for MT next Thursday, so it has been nice to have this.
Sunday, I did my Center duties and then our little group was able to go out for brunch before Boy2 left for CA the next day. Jamaica Man and I however, were not on the same page, so he was expecting me much earlier than the late afternoon arrival I was planning. He'd bought dinner items, so we had dinner in, which was nice, as it was rainy. We do need to work on our communicating tho ... typical of any relationship. He seems to voice something, and then it is over. I tend to need to go a little more into detail ... I wonder where I get that? So I have as my area of focus with my triad this week, our communication.
Yesterday was parent visiting day at MainMan's camp. After dropping him off in the AM, I pretty much had the day to myself. I finally visited our new Whole Foods, which was a fun field trip, but 'really didn't buy much as we didn't need much yet for this week. I also found some underbed storage containers at Odd Job, which will aid me in my belongings sort.
Today is another quiet day. MainMan wants to go back to pizza and game night at the library after camp. I will not be able to make my usual Thursday PM trip to Queens as I will have the dog in my care, so I will go down this PM and Jamaica Man will come this direction on the weekend. I had a manicure and my eyebrows waxed this AM, and 'am getting ready to take a leisurely bath. Plenty of time ... I would have loved the spa pedicure or a massage or something, but it's that old thing about "time or money". I've had plenty of time lately, but 'really need to keep the finances in check. It's so easy to spend with all this extra time!
