Wonderful Weekend
I had promised myself a while back that I needed to make sure to visit the country house at least once each season. Now, I am thinking that I need to visit on a monthly basis!
We had a wonderful weekend! I don't know that I've ever had a better one up there. Well ... I have had some great times ... Thanksgiving with Lesbian Girlfriend, my birthday weekend with The Boys, Lesbian Girlfriend, and Tibbles ... This was wonderful in a whole different kind of way! We basically hung around the property the whole time, despite the fact that there is much to see and do in the area. I think we were both just wanting a totally laid back weekend. I had shopped on Friday, so we ate all our meals in. I had a two hour walk each day and double daily doses of another enjoyable activity also ... if you must know!
Last night we watched Rabbit Proof Fence and now I am wanting to get the soundtrack.
The girls both left for sleepaway camp today, so Main Man is my only child, and he starts daycamp tomorrow also ... 8:20 to 4:20. I have no excuses now to not walk daily or get anything else done that I need.
Life is good!!!
